Over the last month our members nominated and voted on a new overlord to help me in the day-to-day running of things here at WCF. Both people up for vote were top-notch picks and either one was exactly what we needed here.

After a vote of 17 - 5, Stringbean Suni has earned the right to be the newest Overlord.

On January 24th, Call of Duty ELITE premium members received the first two drops in the nine-month long Call of Duty: MW3 Content Season. The two all-new multiplayer maps in this initial drop are Liberation and Piazza. Liberation is a "militarized Central Park in the heart of NYC," featuring an expansive landscape that's perfect for sniping. Piazza is set in an Italian seaside village where "blind corners and a complex network of branching pathways pose danger at every turn." Fast reflexes and a quick trigger finger are important as close-quarters combat dominates in this map.

ELITE premium members will be the first to receive access to brand new content which will roll out once a month throughout the DLC season. The Content Season will be 20 content drops that include new multiplayer maps, special ops missions and game modes. Click here to view the content calendar. The Content Drops will be available for purchase by everyone in March, as part of the first Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection.

Also available is the Call of Duty ELITE app. The app, which is available on Android and iOS devices, allows access to your career summary, recent matches, tracked challenges, and also gives you the ability to push custom classes directly to your console.

During my time with WCF I’ve heard various chatter from our members about wanting to make or wishing there was a podcast on our site, myself included. Well, wish no longer. Presenting the first ever WillClan4Food Podcast, “WillCast4Food”! Now this podcast is still very much in the early stages, but the first episode is available now! You could call it a BETA episode. There are little (and BIG) bugs in the episode. But we’ve got to start somewhere, right? The first episode ran a little longer than I thought it would and so I didn’t do as much editing as I should/could have. So there are going to be a lot of “Ummmms” and “Uhhhhs" in this one. Future episodes should run about an hour or less and therefore easier to edit. Please feel free to offer up any constructive criticism. We will make every effort to improve the show as we go. Enjoy!

In an effort to make accessing our web site on mobile devices more user-friendly, we've found a solution that works with our forum system. The Tapatalk app allows you to browse or search for any Tapatalk-activated forum for easy access on your iPhone, iPad, Android device or Blackberry. Within the app, you just need to search for "WillClan4Food" and sign-in to view our forum. It's as easy as that.

Once inside the forum, you can most of the things that you would be able to do on your computer. The interface itself is nice and simple, so reading, posting, replying to and editing your own posts is very straightforward. You can even check to see who's online, change your profile picture and look at your forum stats. The app offers plenty of viewing options for you to choose from as well—latest posts (unread, all or participated), our forum categories or your favorites.

Though not free, the app is reasonably priced for the convenience it offers, especially if you are a heavy forum reader/poster (in our forum or any of the other 12,000 public forums that use this service). Tapatalk costs $2.99 for iOS and Android devices, $3.99 for Blackberry devices and $4.99 for the iPad. We hope that this new option for accessing the forums will add to your enjoyment of the site.
